Aloe barbadensis leaf juice. Its enhance the appearance of dry or damaged skin by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness. Aloe improves wound-healing and skin inflammation.
Centella asaitica leaf extract. Its active constituents are pentacyclic triterpenoids which have regulating and activating functions, acting on the collagen present in many organs. In skin, the major components are collagens type I and II. Skin aging is related mainly to a decrease in type I collagen levels, which also plays a major role in wound healing.In addition to stimulating the synthesis of collagen, it also improves tensile strength of the skin.
Jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis seed oil). It’s very similar to the human sebum produced by the skin’s sebaceous glands which is comprised largely of wax mono esters. It is non-toxic, non-comedogenic and non-allergenic with a non-greasy feeling in use. It’s contain vitamin E and B complex. It’s commonly used to treat acne, psoriasis, sunburn and chapped skin.
Butylene glycol. Can be used across a wide range of leave-on and rinse-off formulations to add moisture and emolliency. Widely used as alternate solvent for glycerin or propylene glycol in waterbased systems. Butylene glycol has the ability to stabilize volatile compounds such as fragrances and flavors fixing them in cosmetic formulations and to retard the loss of aroma. At a concentration of 8-10% butylene glycol has antimicrobial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms as well as molds and yeasts.
Vitamin E Acetate (Tocopheryl acetate). It’s the stable form of Vitamin E most often used in cosmetic formulations for its skin care benefits. Vitamin E protects cell membranes from damage by oxygen free radicals. It can prevent premature aging of the skin induced by UV irradiation and lipid peroxidation.
Sodium PCA. Its NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor) is a great ingredient for helping to protect the acid mantle, it reduces inflammation in our skin, which it does by preventing surface irritation from becoming too serious and penetrating deep into the epidermis.
